1969 Oldsmobile Hurst 442- Holiday Coupe

While Oldsmobile added Hurst shifters to the Cutlass in previous years, it was in 1968 that they partnered with the Hurst Performance Research Corporation to create the high-output and now much sought-after Hurst/Olds. Production was very limited - just 515 were made (459 Cutlass Holiday 2-door hardtops and 56 Cutlass Holiday 2-door post coupes.)

A few modifications were made in 1969, including a more pronounced underbite in the front bumper and grille, new taillights and a revised paint scheme. The 1969 Hurst/Olds, pictured here, had a unique regal gold on white color scheme with massive hood scoops, a rear spoiler and all the H/O badging you can handle.
The 455 ci V8 provided plenty of rumble and close to 380 horsepower, good for a 0-60 mph time in the high 5s and the quarter-mile in 14 seconds at 101 mph.
